Mr Michael Macdonald
Director - Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner
Micky qualified in 1998 with a BSc Hons Degree from the University of Salford. He is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
He has worked as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner for 9 years specialising in the diagnosis and management of injuries and conditions affecting the upper limb. He has worked privately in the North West for 12 years treating musculoskeletal conditions.
He has a special interest in hands and is able to provide custom made thermoplastic splints.
Mrs Ruth Macdonald
Physiotherapist and acupuncture
Ruth graduated in 1995 from Liverpool University with a BSc (Hons) physiotherapy degree.She is a chartered physiotherapist and is registered with the Health and Care professions council Following graduation she worked in the NHS in Liverpool and Wigan as well as a sports clinic and private practices.
In 2002, Ruth became a senior lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, teaching on both undergraduate and post graduate. She continues to teach on a part time basis.
Ruth completed her MSc. in Manual Therapy in 2007 and gained membership to the Musculoskletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MMACP). She has a special interest in spinal conditions and also uses acupuncture to treat pain.
